Plants of this variety have medium-sized flowers with blue petals. The thousand kernel weight is estimated as low to medium. The variety demonstrates a yield exceeding the level of standard varieties by 15–20%.

The seeds of the variety are intended for food purposes: production of table oil, use in healthy nutrition, and the baking industry. Agriol is used in scientific research as a reference genotype for studying fatty acid composition, seed proteome, and the properties of linseed mucilage.
