The Altéa variety is a representative of the fiber flax crop and belongs to the spring type of plants grown for raw flax production.

During agronomic research, the variety demonstrated yield indicators at the level of 95–105% of control varieties. In professional flax cultivation materials, the variety is mentioned in the context of lodging resistance assessment, however, detailed morphological characteristics or detailed data on disease resistance are limited in open sources.
