The variety was bred using intervarietal hybridization and is intended for producing high-quality flax fiber. Plants of this variety are characterized by tall height, blue flowers, and an increased number of bolls compared to standard varieties. Seeds are brown in color, the thousand kernel weight is 4.73 g.

The plant belongs to the moderately early-maturing group and has a shortened growing season. The variety possesses lodging resistance, as well as increased resistance to Fusarium wilt and anthracnose. The production is characterized by high indices of fiber yield, fineness, and divisibility.
