The variety belongs to the fiber flax type and is of Dutch origin, appearing in collections as an object for crossing. The crop is used as a fiber plant, as well as a model object for studying fiber genetics, resistance to pathogens such as Fusarium wilt, and phytoremediation capacity.

During research, the growing season of the variety was estimated at approximately 82–83 days, and plant height varied within the range of 66–70 cm. Precise characteristics may vary depending on growing conditions, as the variety is a genetic resource for breeding new lines, rather than a modern commercial development.
