Variety description

The variety was developed using microgametophytic selection. Plant height is 52–55 cm, the length of the technical part of the stem is about 40.3 cm. The stem is round, flowers are large, dark blue in color. The fruit is a round five-locular boll, characterized by non-shattering properties.

Seeds are brown, smooth, shiny, egg-shaped with a slightly curved beak. Thousand kernel weight is 7.9–8.2 g. The vegetation period of the variety lasts 84–90 days.

Potential seed yield is 1.6–1.8 t/ha with an oil content in the seeds of 44.0–45.5%. The variety is recommended for cultivation in the steppe zone of Ukraine.
