Evergreen perennial herbaceous plant with a clumping growth habit. Foliage is dark green, narrow, arching, and remains upright during winter. Plant height reaches 40–60 cm. Decorative black berries form after flowering.
The plant produces upright spike-like inflorescences of a lavender or lilac shade from mid-summer to early autumn. The flower stalks are characterized by intense coloration and uniformity in height. The variety is fast-growing, possesses good winter hardiness, and high resistance to fungal and bacterial pathogens.
The variety is a mutation of the variety Evergreen Giant. It is used as a decorative groundcover, for creating borders, edging paths, protecting slopes from erosion, and mass plantings. Suitable for cultivation in full sun and partial shade.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
