Variety description

The variety is characterized by dark foliage coloration: young leaves are almost black, acquiring a dark burgundy or chocolate-brown hue with age. The plant forms upright spicate inflorescences with bright carmine-red flowers that bloom from bottom to top in the period from July to September.
The bush reaches a height of 90–120 cm and a width of 60–90 cm. Stems are predominantly upright, although they may lean. The variety is a winter-hardy perennial, resistant to diseases, and is recommended for use in landscape design in coastal zones of water bodies and rain gardens.
