The variety is a trailing, spreading plant form. Compared to the Arcade Lilac variety, it has less dense branching and less dense foliage.

Distinctive morphological traits include larger upper corolla lobes and a reduced degree of anthocyanin coloration of the sepals. The plant is used in ornamental floriculture.
