The variety is an interspecific hybrid obtained by breeding. Unlike seed-propagated varieties, this plant is sterile, which allows it to direct its resources toward flowering rather than seed formation, even under conditions of heat or moisture deficiency.

The plant has a habit suitable for cultivation in hanging baskets and containers. The flowers have a bright cobalt-blue or blue-violet color, complemented by a white center (eye).
