The variety is used as a forage crop. Studies of productivity and the quality of green mass and silage show good results in terms of sward quality. Available data relate primarily to silage quality indicators, such as crude protein and ash content, as well as ADF and NDF fiber indicators.

In scientific publications, the variety is considered a representative of the annual crop Lolium multiflorum var. westerwoldicum. A specialized morphological description of the plant is absent in open sources.
