The variety is characterized by rapid growth and the ability to head in the first year of sowing. Unlike a number of analogues, the variety demonstrates intensive regrowth after the summer period.

The plant is used as a fodder crop for obtaining green mass, silage, or hay, as well as for catch cropping. The crop is prone to intensive bolting after the first cut.
