The variety was obtained as a result of breeding work aimed at improving the agronomic characteristics of the species Lolium multiflorum. At the time of its introduction, it demonstrated improved indicators of productivity and overwintering ability.
The variety underwent comparative trials, in particular, within the framework of agronomic studies of the forage qualities of Italian ryegrass.
