The variety is a diploid form (2n) of Westerwold ryegrass. The crop is characterized by rapid development after sowing and the ability to head in the first cut, which allows for efficient use of the plant for annual and catch cropping.
During agronomic trials, the variety was evaluated based on criteria of yield, stand density, resistance to leaf diseases such as rust, as well as competitiveness and dry matter content indices.
The variety is intended for the formation of annual forage areas and can be used in mixed sowings with crops such as berseem clover or Persian clover to improve the quality of the resulting forage.
