ActiveLolium perenne L. · Perennial ryegrass
DLF SEEDS A/S
10 August 2026
The variety belongs to the RPR (Regenerating Perennial Ryegrass) line and is intended for the creation of high-quality lawns and sports fields subjected to intense mechanical stress. The main morphological feature lies in the development of horizontal shoots (stolons), allowing plants to form new shoots and recover.
The plant possesses a deep green leaf color, germinates rapidly, and establishes itself on the site. It is characterized by high wear tolerance, moderate resistance to diseases and drought, and the ability to recover after heat stress. The tissues contain endophytes that contribute to increasing the variety's resistance.
It can be used both as a monoculture and in grass mixtures with Kentucky bluegrass or tall fescue. The recommended mowing height is from 1.9 to 7.6 cm, depending on the intensity of the field's use.
