The variety is a tetraploid (4n) plant with vigorous development in early spring and good regrowth ability in summer and autumn. Due to its low tendency to form ears, the variety provides leafy forage over a long period. Morphologically, it is distinguished by wider leaves, which is typical for tetraploids.
The plant possesses resistance to major diseases, in particular to rust, as well as to adverse climatic factors and cold. The economic lifespan is about 5 years. The variety is universal, suitable for grazing, hay, silage, and haylage harvesting, as well as for inclusion in grass mixtures.
The seeding rate for pure sowing is about 30 kg/ha. Optimal sowing times are in the spring period from March 15 to the end of April or in the autumn period from mid-August to November. The plant adapts to various soil types.
