The variety is diploid (2n=14) and has medium-green leaves. It is intended exclusively for forage use in agriculture.

The plant demonstrates vigorous growth during the winter period. Best productivity indicators are achieved when cultivated in conditions of fertile soils and a sufficient level of moisture (over 600 mm of precipitation per year).
