The variety is intended for use in lawn mixtures and for overseeding on sports fields and golf courses. The plant forms a dense stand of dark green color. Literature also mentions an improved version of the variety called «Express II», which is characterized as a low-growing and long-lived lawn type.
The plant possesses complex resistance to diseases such as Pythium blight, brown and gray leaf spot, red thread, and dollar spot. A high endophyte content provides natural protection against pests feeding on the above-ground parts of the plants. The variety demonstrates good tolerance to high salt content in soil and water.
