The variety belongs to the late-maturing group, characterized by late heading. Morphologically, the variety is distinguished by narrow leaves; the color of the leaf blade varies from medium-green to dark-green. The plant forms a short stem.

The variety is intended for creating turf covers and lawn grass stands. In professional trials of the 1970–1980s, it was certified as a specialized turf crop intended for use in grass mixtures.
