Perennial low-growing plant of a semi-prostrate type. Leaves are lanceolate, green. The inflorescence is a short spike with anthocyanin coloration.

The variety has the ability to form a dense turf. The plant tolerates frequent and low mowing, however, it is moderately resistant to trampling and sensitive to soil waterlogging.
