The variety belongs to the group of early-maturing ryegrasses. The heading time of the plants is in direct dependence on the temperature regime of the early spring period.
During agronomic trials in the 1980s, the variety demonstrated susceptibility to crown rust and Drechslera species. At present, the variety is considered obsolete and is used primarily in historical studies and breeding work as a parental form.
