The variety Marcellina is a diploid (2n) variety of perennial ryegrass. It is used for the creation of forage pastures, as well as a component in lawn grass mixtures.

It is characterized by the formation of a dense sward, high leaf quality, and disease resistance. The variety possesses a pronounced ability to recover after mowing or grazing.
