The variety belongs to the category of forage crops and is characterized as late-maturing with an ear emergence date of approximately May 24–25. The plant is a perennial loose-bunchgrass in which the leaves of young plants are folded, while those of adult plants are rolled; the leaf blades are glabrous.

The variety is intended for the establishment of perennial pastures and hayfields and is suitable for livestock grazing and forage harvesting as hay or silage. The crop demonstrates productivity under mowing and grazing, and is also undergoing evaluation for resistance to common fungal diseases.
