The variety belongs to the 'creeping-type' and forms stolons, which allows it to independently restore damaged areas of the turf. It is intended for creating sports turfs, golf courses, and sites with high-intensity use, as well as for repairing turf covers.
The plant has high stand density, fine leaf texture, and medium-green color. The variety features a moderate growth rate, is suitable for low mowing, and demonstrates excellent resistance to fungal diseases, in particular to rust and Sclerotinia. May contain endophytes.
In the USA, the variety is known under the trade name 'CSI-Rye'; in some European regions, it may be found under the name 'Sienna'.
