The variety is tetraploid (4n) and belongs to the mid-season group, with the heading date occurring at the end of May. The plant is characterized by a medium rate of initial development and a growth habit ranging from intermediate to semi-prostrate.

The variety possesses resistance to rust, high winter hardiness, and persistence. It is distinguished by intensive vegetative mass formation after mowing, with the yield of the first cut often exceeding that of similar varieties.

It is intended for use on forage lands and as a component of grass mixtures. One of the key features of the variety is its adaptability to cultivation on acidic peat soils.
