The variety was developed by crossing Spanish and New Zealand genetic lines. The plant has a "prostrate" growth habit and is capable of forming rooting lateral shoots, which allows it to fill empty patches in the sward. It is characterized by thin leaves and high tiller density.
The variety is late-maturing, which allows it to maintain forage quality for longer in late spring and summer. It possesses high drought tolerance and the ability to recover quickly after stress. It provides high nutritional value and palatability for livestock.
It is supplied with the NEA2 endophyte, which provides protection against insect pests and safety for animals, reducing the risk of ryegrass staggers.
