The variety «Satellit» (also referred to as «SU Satellit») is a perennial loose-bunch grass. The plant is used both for forming quality turf as part of grass mixtures for landscaping and as a component of forage grass mixtures for pastures and hayfields.

Biologically, the variety possesses traits typical for the species. During use, it demonstrates rapid regeneration of vegetative mass after mowing and high leafiness.
