The variety is tetraploid (4n) and belongs to late-maturing types. It was developed based on breeding material of the variety «Priekuļu 59» using the experimental polyploidy method.
The plant is distinguished by a high ability to maintain sward density, ensuring over 90% persistence in the second year of growth. Under mineral nutrition conditions, the variety provides high-quality forage, however, at the end of the heading stage, the crude fiber content increases.
The variety is intended for establishing pastures and forage production. In comparative studies of disease resistance, it demonstrates acceptable results.
