The mixture is characterized by high drought tolerance and forms a dense, compact turf. It possesses good recovery capacity after mechanical damage and is capable of maintaining a green color during drought periods.
The grass mixture is adapted to conditions of good lighting, while showing acceptable results in partial shade. In professional NTEP tests, the name Sunshine is also encountered as a designation for an experimental sample of Lolium perenne, however, in general circulation, it is a commercial brand.
