The variety is synthetic, obtained through the selection of 8 clones from a local Romanian population. The plant is characterized by a medium habit in the vegetative phase and the presence of long leaves. It is distinguished by a high degree of uniformity in flowering and fruiting.

The variety possesses winter hardiness, drought tolerance, and resistance to intensive grazing and major diseases, including rust and snow mold. It can be cultivated as a pure stand or in mixtures with perennial legumes.

The green mass yield potential is 35–40 t/ha in pure stands and up to 40–50 t/ha in mixtures. Dry matter yield reaches 7–8 t/ha, and seed yield potential exceeds 1000 kg/ha.
