Variety description

The variety was obtained through open pollination of the selected Kamchatka honeysuckle form No. 2-64-32. During the breeding process, it had the designation number 4-4-80. Fruiting begins in the 3rd–4th year after planting.

The bush is low-growing; the crown is compact, semi-spreading, upright, and tends to become dense with age. Berries are dark purple with a strong waxy bloom, elongated-oval or teardrop-shaped, weighing 1.6–2.7 g. The taste is sweet and sour, without bitterness.

The variety is resistant to diseases, drought, and frosts down to -49...-50.6°C, and possesses medium heat resistance. Berries have low shattering and high transportability. Usage is universal: fresh consumption, processing, and freezing.
