The bush is upright, easy to prune, which facilitates berry harvesting. The variety is characterized as frost-hardy, its properties are stable when propagated by traditional methods and by the in-vitro method.

The fruits are spindle-cylindrical in shape, light blue in color, and medium-sized. The taste of the berries is rich, sweet and sour. The variety is intended for commercial cultivation due to the high storage quality and firmness of the fruits.

Varieties of Canadian and Siberian selection are suitable for pollination. The Svitanok variety has a morphological resemblance to the Aurora variety.
