The plant is an evergreen shrub with a dense growth habit. The leaves are oval-shaped, characterized by a glossy surface and a purple color with a distinctive pink border. In the summer months, June and July, small cream-white flowers with a pronounced aroma bloom on the shrub.

The height of the adult plant varies from 0.5 to 1.5 meters. The variety has limited winter hardiness and is capable of withstanding temperatures down to -5°C. Due to this, in regions with cold climates, it is recommended to keep the plant in containers and move them to cool rooms during the winter period. It is used for creating borders, mass plantings, or as a solitary plant.
