Variety description

The variety is a hybrid of Lophomyrtus bullata and Lophomyrtus obcordata. It is a dense, upright shrub with a height of 0.5 to 1.5 meters. The leaves are small, oval, leathery, and glossy.
The plant blooms in June-July with small white cup-shaped flowers with a light fragrance, after which dark red fruits may appear. The leaf color changes during cold weather, when the creamy-white margins acquire a pink hue.
The variety is considered conditionally winter-hardy and is suitable for regions with mild climates. In conditions with frosty winters, cultivation in tubs with overwintering in a cool room is required. When kept in protected cultivation, the plant may be affected by spider mites.
