The plant reaches a height of 90–120 cm and has white flowers. The variety is suitable for mechanized harvesting due to uniform grain ripening.

Distinguished by high resistance to anthracnose, due to the genetic characteristics of local forms from the Azores. Used as a source of resistance in breeding programs.
