The variety was obtained by crossing a Polish sweet lupin with a local bitter variety. It is characterized by a low content of anti-nutritional factors (alkaloids less than 0.02%), which eliminates the need for prolonged soaking of the grain before use. The product is rich in protein and phenolic compounds.
The plant is indehiscent; the pods do not crack upon ripening, which prevents seed shattering. The variety possesses a habit suitable for mechanized harvesting and high resistance to soil-borne diseases. The plant's flowers are white.
Under Spanish conditions, sowing of the variety is carried out in November, with flowering occurring in March. The plant demonstrates good adaptability to various types of soil.
