The variety is characterized by high adaptation to the Mediterranean climate and resistance to drought. The plant is at risk of anthracnose infection, therefore it requires phytosanitary condition control.

The seeds contain about 34.2% protein. The variety belongs to "sweet" types with a low level of alkaloids and is used as a reference sample in scientific research for evaluating protein content, phenolic compounds, and enzymatic activity.

In agricultural production, the variety is cultivated as a protein crop. Due to the specific rheological properties of the flour, it is used in the food industry, in particular, as an additive to wheat flour in the production of bakery products.
