The variety is of Polish breeding and is used primarily as a forage crop for livestock. The seeds of the variety show a high crude protein content, reaching 445 g/kg.

In scientific studies, the variety is used to examine the nutritional value of seeds, amino acid digestibility, and the content of anti-nutritional factors, such as oligosaccharides and non-starch polysaccharides.
