The variety belongs to the group of thermoneutral forms, which ensures more uniform development and the possibility of cultivation in regions with a short growing season. It has reduced temperature requirements in the initial growth period, which allows it to thrive without the need for obligatory vernalization.

The plant is low-alkaloid and accumulates significant amounts of nutrients, including nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium. In scientific literature, the variety is often used as a standard sample susceptible to the pathogen anthracnose (Colletotrichum lupini).

The variety is intended for agricultural use for grain and forage protein, including in mixed crops with cereal crops. It has served as a genetic basis for breeding other varieties in foreign countries.
