The variety belongs to low-alkaloid yellow fodder lupin forms. Its seeds are used as raw material for obtaining protein products, such as flour and grits, and have been subjected to scientific analysis for sugar content, including sucrose, raffinose, stachyose, and verbascose.
In agronomic publications, the variety is mentioned as an object of research on the influence of climatic factors on yield and plant development. Studies from the late 1980s noted a low degree of bean yellow mosaic virus infection in the variety's seeds.
