The variety is the result of breeding by crossing the 'Universal' and 'Kastrryčnik' forms. The plant is an annual herbaceous crop with an erect branching stem, palmate leaves, and bright yellow fragrant flowers in raceme inflorescences.
The seeds contain approximately 40.8% protein and 0.021% alkaloids. A high content of magnesium (3.44 mg/g of dry matter) and potassium (13.9 mg/g of dry matter) was detected in the seed composition. The plant possesses a powerful taproot system and is capable of nitrogen fixation.
