The plant reaches a height of 60–91 cm and possesses palmate-parted gray-green or light-green leaves. The bush is compact and forms dense vertical inflorescences. The flower color varies from orange-red tones to a combination of red, pink, and yellow shades.
Flowering occurs in late spring to early summer, in May–June. Reblooming is possible if spent inflorescences are removed. The variety has sturdy stems, is resistant to diseases, and is frost-hardy, withstanding USDA zones 4–9.
The plant is used in decorative gardening for mixed borders, group plantings, containers, and cut flowers. It contains alkaloids, is toxic if ingested, and can cause irritation to the skin and mucous membranes.
