Variety description

The plant reaches a height of 60–100 cm and has a compact, upright habit. The foliage is palmate, dark green or gray-green in color. The flowers are colored in blue or violet-blue tones with white speckles and possess a characteristic "peppery" fragrance.

Flowering begins in late spring or June and, with the removal of faded inflorescences, can continue until the end of summer. The variety is distinguished by sturdy stems that do not require staking and high winter hardiness, withstanding temperatures down to -34°C.

Prefers sunny locations or light partial shade and well-drained slightly acidic soils. It is a short-lived perennial that requires rejuvenation of plantings every 3–5 years.
