The tree has intermediate vigor, forms a semi-open crown, and is characterized by late flowering. The variety is distinguished by high and stable yields, but the entry into the fruiting period occurs slowly.
The fruits are of medium or small-to-medium size, oblate in shape, with a short stalk. The flesh is firm, white in color; the taste is sweet, with a characteristic aroma described as the scent of straw.
Genetically, the variety is close to the Limoncella apple. At present, the plant is found in old orchards and is being studied as part of projects for the restoration of local genetic resources.
1 jurisdiction
Green indicates countries where the variety is listed in the national catalogue and its seeds are authorized for sale. Expired registrations are marked separately: the variety was previously admitted, but sale is no longer permitted.
