The C.G. 10 (Cornell-Geneva 10) rootstock provides semi-dwarfing growth, occupying an intermediate position between M.9 and M.26. It possesses resistance to fire blight and is used in intensive orchard management to control tree size and increase yield.

The Yellow Delicious Smoothee variety is a clone of "Golden Delicious" with smooth skin resistant to russeting. The fruits have tender sweet flesh with low acidity, the harvest period occurs in mid-September, and the variety is suitable for long-term storage.
