The variety was obtained by crossing Golden Delicious and Lundbytorp. The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and a semi-upright crown shape; it reaches bearing age moderately quickly.

The fruits are large, straw-yellow in color with a bright red blush, light lenticels, and slight russeting around the stalk. The flesh is cream-colored, firm, crisp, fine-grained, and juicy.

A late-maturing variety; harvesting occurs in mid to late October. The fruits have good keeping quality, remaining stored until the end of March under cold storage conditions. It is a dessert variety, suitable for fresh consumption and culinary processing.
