The tree has moderate vigor with branches showing horizontal spreading and an overall tendency for vertical development. The variety enters production early and is diploid, requiring a pollinator. The flowering period occurs earlier than that of the Golden Delicious variety.

Fruits are medium to large in size, round in shape, have a pronounced red skin color, and juicy cream-white flesh of medium firmness. Harvesting is carried out from mid-August to early September. The variety is prone to biennial bearing, which requires fruit thinning.

The variety is sensitive to spring frosts. Fruits have good storage life for early varieties and maintain their quality until mid-October at a temperature of about 3°C. Requires fewer picking passes compared to other mutations of the Delcorf variety.
