The variety was obtained by crossing the Gala variety with a scab-resistant form. The tree has medium vigor, forms an open crown, and belongs to the third fruiting type. The variety is characterized by a low tendency toward alternate bearing and responds well to short pruning.

The fruits are medium to large in size, weighing 75–85 mm, with smooth skin and a purple-red blush on a yellow background. The flesh is cream-colored, crisp, and juicy, possessing a sweet taste with low acidity. In a regular refrigerator, the harvest can be stored until February, and under controlled atmosphere conditions, until June.
