The POM DEL BAUSSAN variety is a rare apple variety preserved in the Italian region of Piedmont. According to expert assessments, this name is a local adaptation of the Yellow Bellflower variety, bred in the USA in 1817.

The tree is distinguished by medium vigor and a branched type with an ascending crown. Fruiting occurs on spurs and mixed branches. Flowering is classified as early or medium, and the fruit ripening period as medium.

The apple fruits are medium-sized and have a spheroidal shape. Currently, the variety is considered rare and is being preserved by specialized organizations as part of historical biodiversity.
