The variety is local and ancient; the mother plant was identified in the municipality of Pinasca. The tree possesses high vigor and has an open canopy type.

Fruiting occurs primarily on spurs and mixed branches. The flowering period occurs at medium times from the fourth week of April to the first week of May; harvesting is carried out at medium times.
