The variety was obtained as a result of breeding work at the Ullensvang research center in Norway. It belongs to the group of early-maturing varieties and is intended for fresh consumption.

The fruits possess good taste qualities and appearance. The plant is distinguished by high resistance to apple scab and is adapted for growth in a northern climate.
